Profile: J10 & D8 riflescopes, Revue défense & sécurité internationale (International Security & Defense Review)
"The SCROME firm" is an article published in December 14, 2013 issue of the journal Défense et Sécurité International (International Defense and Security), which refers to the use of the SCROME J10 and J8 riflescopes.
The J10 Fl scope is made using entoptic mechanical parts from the LTE series. It meets the specifications issued in 1995 by the French Army for a scope to equip the PGM Hecate II rifle chambered in 12.7 mm (.50 BMG) (see DSI No. 69). It stands out from other scopes due to its concept, which makes it possible to fire based on key parameters, without any adjustments. It allows the shooter, after the distance acquisition, to take the target into account and track it without losing the visual, but also to fire without involving his/her adjustment systems. The JF l0 Fl is equipped with adjustment turrets which are manufactured with fine threads without play and a ball click system (0, 1 m/) as in the LTE series, and which give it a precision under 0.005111, reproducible.
